LibraryThing… book review directory

I wasn’t a book person and whenever I thought, its good habit to take-up, I just couldn’t go beyond – newspaper, news articles, Tintin, Asterix, Spiderman,.. and some ‘talk-of-the-time’ books.

when moved out of India and having some time to kill – took me to books, to blogs and blogs on book reviews. Ever since, I took every opportunity to get hooked to book review club, community, websites.

I found LibraryThing to be interest website for this. “Its MySpace for books or Facebook for books. LibraryThing is an online service to help people catalog their books easily. You can access your catalog from anywhere—even on your mobile phone. Because everyone catalogs together, LibraryThing also connects people with the same books, comes up with suggestions for what to read next, and so forth. LibraryThing is a full-powered cataloging application, searching the Library of Congress, all five national Amazon sites, and more than 60 world libraries. You can edit your information, search and sort it, “tag” books with your own subjects, or use the Library of Congress and Dewey systems to organize your collection.”

for all book review bloggers..may we can compile book review blog directory.!? appreciate your thoughts & blog urls.
